District Planning Authority
The Local Governments Act, CAP 243 devolves planning powers to Local Councils in their areas of jurisdiction. As per the Act local governments Councils are mandated to establish Planning departments to support them the supreme planning authority in streamlining development planning and budgeting Section 33(3) and Section 78, in accordance with the national planning authority guidelines and programmes.

To promote and ensure Universal Health Coverage in Mpigi District through evidence-based and technically sound policies, standards and strategies that are client centered.
